Bloomington Cat Hospital

As members of the Bloomington community (albeit new ones), we HIGHLY believe in giving back.  Since our expertise is primarily in animal care fields, we support both the Monroe County Humane Association and Bloomington Animal Care and Control in several ways.  We were nominated in 2009 for the Be More Bloomington Awards by the MCHA.

These are just some of the things that we do:

  • Visit the shelter weekly (along with Dr. Art Woodruff) to advise on treatment of sick dogs and cats.
  • Provide low to no cost treatment for animals from the shelter that need more intensive care and diagnostics.
  • Broker with distributors so that the shelter can purchase medications and vaccines at a better cost.
  • Contribute financially to the MCHA's major fundraisers, the Walk for the Animals and the Spring Gala.
  • Sponsor a once to twice a month vaccine clinic for the MCHA as a fundraiser for them and to give the poorer residents of Indiana
  •  a place for that basic need, and donate our time for giving the shots.

If you have any questions about the different ways we are active in our community, feel free to ask!
